    Quotes:

“I rang my best friend, just as I’d been told, literally minutes after I’d been told, I rung my friend and she answered and she said: ‘So have you got it?’ And I said: ‘Yes!!’ And she screamed, she literally just went arghhh - it was like five minutes, I had to hold the phone here, not to be able to break my ear and she was so excited she was almost more excited than me. — They actually brought me to the studio and sat me down with Rupert and told me “You got the part” and I just stood there going blank for like 5 minutes until it really sunk in. I was like oh my gosh, is this a dream? Someone pinch me.”

“It’s the scariest thing that’s ever happened to me, it’s the biggest thing that’s ever happened to me, and it’s the best thing that’s ever happened to me! I really enjoyed making the film and I’d love to think that people would look up to me. That’s very flattering. — I might as well have been in the army. It was really hard work. I think that day I swallowed 50% dust and 50% food, it was that tough.”

“Hermione is a saucy teacher’s pet who’s obsessed with school, very mommy’s girl. She’s a bit of a nerd, but is very - she’s a real bookworm. — It was sort of hard being the only girl in a film for six months. Hermione’s got to be very ‘nose up’. I think that’s the whole of her charisma. If she didn’t have that, she’d be normal and it’s what creates her really. The fact that she’s so ‘Well, I’m right and you’re wrong’. I love that in her. — Some of Hermione’s lines left me wondering what on earth she was going on about !! — Hermione will do something really clever, like she’ll be a doctor or something, or she’ll be really academic. — I believe that Hermione will end up single. — Fossy boots.. and an addict to school. She bosses Ron and Harry around all the time. And really, I think she enjoys it. It’s a lot of fun being the only girl. — Hermione just kicks ass!”

“Most people are really nice but some stare, like you’re some kind of zoo exhibit and not a real person with real feelings. Even when you take away all the glamour and attention and premieres and everything, it still comes down to the fact that I’m acting.”

“Neville comes up to me with his toad, Trevor, and says,”Do you want to kiss Trevor goodnight?” Every time he did this I burst into laughter. I was supposed to give him an “I hate you” look, but I couldn’t help myself. It took me about eight takes to get it.”

    On kissing her co-stars:
“Oh my God, no, no chance, no chance. That’s not in my contract!”

“I met Brad Pitt, that was really good. That really made my day!”

“It was unbelievable seeing me as an action figure! In a few months, toddlers all around the country will be biting my head off!”

“I’m very, very sporty - I ski, I fish, I do field hockey and tons of stuff.”

“I think I could be 100 years old and in my rocker, but I’ll still be very proud to say I was in the ‘Harry Potter’ films.”

“This REALLY bugs me!” says Emma of her character’s unusual name. “I go around saying, ‘Everyone repeat it with me: Her-MY-oh-nee’, because everyone says Her-my-WON, Her-my-OWN.”

“I would like Voldemort to be properly killed– dead– so that Harry won’t have anymore problems. For Ron’s dad to get really, really, super-duper rich. For the Malfoys to go broke.”
